REFUND POLICY COURSES & TRAINING

All bookings are final.

**Can reschedule dates if more than 2 weeks notice to course start date is given.

***Cancellations less than 2 weeks notice to course start date result in loss of deposit.

 **** Cancellations less than 1 weeks notice to course start date result in loss of full course fee (includes cancellations once course has started and during the course)

All refunds incur a $15 booking fee 

 

Rusty Freediving reserves the right to postpone any course dates, training or other service if the event is deemed unsafe due to environmental factors (i.e. weather, ocean, river or dam conditions). The events offered are dependent on minimum numbers (2). If there are insufficient numbers of students to run a course an alternative date will be arranged. Failing to rearrange a follow up date can result with the customer being eligible for a full refund.

No refund will be issued in the event of an outbreak, lockdown or restrictions that come into effect due to Covid-19. Rusty Freediving will notify you as soon as possible to reschedule a convenient alternate date. We will not reimburse any travel, accommodation or other expenses you may have occurred in the event of a cancellation.

Rusty Freediving will text or email you to confirm your course attendance 7 days prior to your course date. Failing to reply to either will be an assumption of your non-attendance to the course. Non-attendance, or cancellation within 7 days of the course start date will result in the loss of your course fee. You will be subject to normal rebooking conditions if you wish to participate in another event. Reasonable consideration to unforeseen circumstances will be accounted for.

Customers may be eligible for a refund if they have been identified as permanently medically unfit to dive. A dive medical is required at least 48hrs before the event start date by a practicing General Practitioner stating that the student is permanently unfit to dive. Rusty Freediving will not issue a refund if you simply change your mind about your event booked.

REFUND POLICY PHYSICAL ITEMS

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
