COURSE INFO

This course is next level of depth progression, aimed at the more experienced spearo or freediver. You should already be comfortable doing repeated dives to 18m-20m. You will learn advanced equalisation techniques and experience the peaceful feeling of "free fall" that freedivers describe as flying underwater or floating through space!

During the course we will cover:

• Advanced Frenzel Equalisation
• Introduction to Airshift Techniques
• Freefall
• Refining Deep Safety Procedures
• Optimising Warm-up Dives
• Full Lung Stretching
• Empty Lung Stretching
• Advanced Relaxation & Mental Training Techniques

This course will be tailored to your personal goals: 

• Recreational Freediving
• Sport Freediving
• Deep Spearfishing

PREREQUISITES 

To enrol in an SSI Freediving Level 2 course you must be at least 15 years old. You must also have completed the SSI Freediving Level 1 course, or equivalent with another recognised agency.

• Static Apnea | 2:30
• Dynamic Apnea | 50 meters
• Dynamic Blackout Rescue | 2-4 meters
• Constant Weight Dive | Frenzel and Free Fall 20 meters
• Arms-Only Ascent | 15 meters
• Towing | 25 meters
• Deepwater Blackout Rescue | 15 meters

This program provides you with the training and knowledge required to safely freedive with a buddy in open water environments up to depths of 30m. You will earn the internationally recognised SSI Level 2 Freediving Certification after successfully completing this program.
